History of A!CM

2015

Our adventure starts as traveling exhibits and activities designed to spark imagination.

2017

From the trunks of our cars to a concrete space, Adventure! found a home in Valley River Center.

2018

We worked tirelessly behind a concrete wall to bring an additional 17 exhibits to visitors. This increased our capacity and introduced an additional 8,000 square feet to the exhibit hall.

2020

The museum closely followed procedures and closures throughout the state of Oregon and closed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our limited staff created craft boxes and instructional videos delivered to families’ doorsteps to keep the spirit of Adventure! alive.

2021

Adventure!’s exhibit hall was lonely without the delighted squeals of children, and we were just as delighted to reopen under limited capacity.

2023

We added an additional 4,000 square feet to our exhibit hall, bringing more intentionally designed exhibits to life.

2026

Today, we welcome over 90,000 visitors annually to explore over 40 interactive, educational exhibits. Our next Adventure! awaits!
