A Fantastical Creature Day of Play
Join us in celebrating cryptids (like sasquatch, Nessie, and yeti) and mythical creatures (like dragons and unicorns) from around the world! Make some Bigfoot Toe Jam to take home, create a Loch Ness Monster stick puppet, create a Jimothy obstacle course in honor of the PNW’s favorite honorary cryptid, Jimothy the raccoon, make unicorn slime, and more!
This event is part of Nickelodeon and the Association of Children’s Museums’ Worldwide Day of Play, and is sponsored. Look for your favorite animated Nickelodeon characters on coloring sheets and puzzles in our Art Lab all day!

Adventure!'s Family Halloween Party & Pumpkin Auction
Families are invited to attend our favorite FUNdraiser of the year! Dress your best for canirval games, a live pumpkin auction, crafts, snacks, a magic show, princess photos, gift card raffle, and more!
Registration is now OPEN! $10 per attendee (children and adults) includes a punch card for games, face painting, and snacks. Leftover punches at the end of the night can be spent on prizes in the Haunted Dollhouse. Additional punch cards will be available for purchase on the day of the event.
Bidding on pumpkins or making a donation to win a gift card? Please plan to pay for those items at the front desk during the event.

Gabby's Dollhouse Meowseum Discovery Days
“DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums have launched a year-long partnership called Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days - a joint commitment to reinforce the magic of imagination and discovery that is “unboxed” with each and every visit to a children’s museum. DreamWorks and ACM are excited to collaborate with museums across the country to incorporate Gabby and friends, in varying ways by location, into their respective programming and spaces as they seed and nourish a love for exploration. Come discover the magic of children’s museums!”
Follow the paw prints to take a photo with a Gabby’s Dollhouse backdrop, then find the Gabby Cat(s) hiding at Adventure! to win a prize. Special crafts, coloring pages, and activities will accompany this 10-day MEOWseum Discovery Days event! Stay tuned for details as they develop.

Food Fundraiser - Noodles & Co
Stop by Noodles & Co in Springfield from 4pm to 8pm for 20% of proceeds going back to Adventure! Children’s Museum! Make sure to show the accompanying flyer or use code GIVING20 to support play-based, early childhood educational opportunities for children and families in Lane County.
Family Game Night
Membership families and donors are welcome to attend this “thank you!” event at no charge! Choose from our assortment of board games and tabletop games while you enjoy a cold soda, sparkling water, or water. We’ll invite you to play some Tonie stories on the Tonie Box too!

Our supporters keep Adventure! open and innovative! If you count yourself in that amazing company, you’re invited to a free evening of exhibit exploration, fun challenges, and tasty snacks and beverages.
This event is our way of thanking our generous community of supporters, and showing you how much we’ve been able to do thanks to your support these past 9 years.
Please RSVP by August 18th to ensure we have enough snacks and beverages. Please include your name or the name of your organization, and the number of people you will bring.
This is a 21+ event! Members and donors who wish to include children in their celebration are encouraged to attend game night on August 28th!
Roving Park presents: "The Wind in the Willows"
Traveling theatre company The Roving Park Players joins us at Adventure! on Saturday, August 15th for a short preview performance at 11am. Kids will love the critters and their adventures!
Enjoyed the preview so much you’d like to see the entire show? The Players will be on site to tell you all about their upcoming performance schedule so you can see this wild cast of characters in local parks.
