An organization designed to eliminate disparities in postpartum and infant health through education, research, and cultural change, Nurturely clients participate in babywearing classes and cultural story times, hosted at the museum. Babywearing and Bailando supports new and expecting parents on their babywearing journey, and cultural story time immerses families in the many tales and memories of the African Diaspora.
-
On the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month, Adventure! hosts a free support group play date for WellMama clients. A facilitator of WellMama attends each play date, serving as a resource for families new to parenting, experiencing postpartum or grief, or looking to connect with other parents and caregivers. These play dates are free to attend, and ensure a neutral community gathering space for families.
