Pumpkin Trail Pumpkin Hunt

The Pumpkin Trail Pumpkin Hunt has returned! Here’s what you need to know:

  • It’s FREE to participate, but limited to the first 100 participants!

  • No pre-registration

  • Packets become available first-come, first-served Saturday October 10th at Adventure! Children’s Museum - no holds

  • Pumpkin Trail officially starts on October 13th; participating businesses will not have letters in windows or treats available before the 13th

  • Limited to one packet per child. If children are not present at pickup, limited to two per family

  • Your name and contact information will be collected at pickup

Anticipated Q&A:

  • What if I can’t make it on the 10th to pick up? Can I call to have a packet held?

    • Unfortunately, no. Due to excessive no-shows for packet pickup in previous years, we are not reserving packets this year. That said, participation numbers in previous years indicate that there will likely be packets available beyond October 10th.

  • Can I pick up for my eight day-care kids?

    • If your eight day-care kids are with you, you can pick up one per child. If no children are with you, the limit is two per family. This is to ensure as many families can participate as possible.

  • Can I just pick up one packet for my entire family?

    • Sure, just be aware our partners are planning for one treat per packet (limit of 100). If your three kids walk in with one packet, they may be leaving with one treat to share between them. At the end of the event, families with completed Pumpkin Trail packets can pick up a goodie bag at Adventure! The goodie bag will be a little easier to share as it will contain multiple items.

  • What is this? I’ve never heard of this before.

    • The Pumpkin Trail is something Adventure! started doing during COVID closures to provide a fun activity for families during the fall season. Various businesses in town will display pumpkin posters in their windows from October 13th through the 31st. At their own pace, families will visit the stops, find the pumpkins, and use the letters on each pumpkin to solve a puzzle. At each stop, if visited during regular business hours, kids can collect a prize. At the end, visit Adventure! with completed packets to receive a goodie bag.

Cheers, and happy trails!
