At Adventure! and other museums, children and adults regularly pay admission to the museum. Regular adult admission is $7 per person.

We often get questions regarding why adults have to pay admission to children's museums.

Our friends at the Association of Children's Museums share: "Children's museums offer opportunities for family learning as well as time to bond with family members." 

We hope you'll play too. But if not, please enjoy the following amenities, included with your adult admission:

•  a clean space maintained by our awesome staff (staffing accounts for the majority of our budget)

• heating and cooling from a filtered, well-maintained hvac system (our systems are old and expensive to maintain)

• insurance, covering accidental injury to children or adults (nonprofits pay for insurance just like other businesses do)

• bathrooms and changing area stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, feminine hygiene products, diapers, wipes, and hand sanitizer. (adults are the primary supply users, with supply costs of thousands of dollars annually)
