Explore Our Exhibits

One of our original exhibits, renovated and expanded over the years, the Dino Dig Site invites visitors to:

  • build their own dinosaur using giant foam blocks;

  • dig for fossils, bones, and other prehistoric artifacts;

  • compare bone and fossil sizes to charts; and

  • discover the different types of dinosaurs and other creatures living on the planet before us.

BONUS: Every year in September, Adventure! participates in the Association of Children’s Museums’ Worldwide Day of Play. Our Day of Play is all about Dinosaurs: in addition to the Dino Dig Site exhibit, we offer coloring sheets and crafts, dinosaur stories, DIY dinosaur eggs and fossils, and more.

Adventure! also offers a Dinosaur Bath Time some Mondays as our Sensory Activity. We love dinosaurs!
