Our mission at Adventure! is to create an environment dedicated to the spirit of adventure, and to help kids grow as artists, explorers, and innovators. Pursuant to this mission, Adventure! has a well-earned reputation for cleanliness and for helping families stay safe and healthy.

Our Commitment to Health and Safety: Our staff is dedicated to helping your family stay healthy and play safely. We regularly clean and sanitize Adventure!’s surfaces and high-use props multiple times per day.  Increased cleaning rounds, scheduled small-group play sessions, and fresh batches of props  are some of the additions we are making to help us continue to ensure the museum is one of the cleanest places for your family to play as we reopen.

How Our Visitors Can Play Their Part: Adventure! exists for our visitors, and we rely on you to help us maintain high standards of health and safety! Masks are required in our space for anyone age three (3) and older when Lane County is in a High Risk category, and STRONGLY recommended in Medium and Low risk categories.

For your safety, and the safety of others, please stay home if you or your child are experiencing a fever,  cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms, or if anyone in your close circle has had a recent positive Covid test. This may include allergy symptoms for the time being, unfortunately, as it will be impossible to discern illness from allergy. Visitors exhibiting symptoms may be denied entry or, if symptoms become evident after entry, may be asked to leave. We’d prefer not to put children in that position, so please plan ahead and don’t visit with symptoms.

Hand-washing Guidelines: We encourage visitors to sanitize their hands upon entering and exiting the museum. Hand-washing with soap and water is more effective than hand sanitizer, but to ensure everyone has ample opportunities to clean up, Adventure! currently offers the following:

• eight hand sanitizing stations (five more than before)

• six hand wipes stations

• and, ever since our expansion in 2018, two regularly-cleaned bathrooms for hand-washing

Our current capacity (as of May 2022) is approximately 50 people, which allows ample room for families to play with distance from others, when desired. We also offer morning and evening family/pod sessions by reservation for families who aren’t ready to play in the museum with large groups. We may reduce this capacity limit at our discretion.

It was painful to be closed for so long, and we are happy to be able to offer the museum as a place for fun, learning, and respite again! Thank you for supporting the museum during this strange time. If you have questions or concerns about anything, please don’t hesitate to email us at AdventureChildrensMuseum@gmail.com

Best,
